Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous Oxide, otherwise known as “laughing gas”, is a form of minimal conscious sedation. Laughing gas can help decrease anxiety and allow children to feel more comfortable during any procedures. There is no recovery time as we flush out all the laughing gas with 100% oxygen for 5 minutes at the end of every appointment.
Oral Conscious Sedation
Some children need a little more help than laughing gas especially if they are prone to mouth breathing. Oral conscious sedation is also a minimal conscious sedation that can be more effective for some patients.
In-Office IV Sedation with anesthesiologist
We also offer general anesthesia with an experienced anesthesiologist that understands our practice philosophy in being gentle with our children. Dr. Jae goes through a rigorous vetting process to hand choose our anesthesiologists that provide gentle and high-quality anesthesia service.
This is a stress-free experience for the child as they go to sleep with gas and we bring the parents back before your child wakes up.
