Dental Exams
We truly believe that regular dental examinations are important in order for your child to have good dental health and a smile of which he or she can be proud. We start by doing a professional cleaning, removing all of the tartar and buildup on your child’s teeth.
We provide a comprehensive exam which includes a visual exam and radiographs if indicated. It’s important to take radiographs to detect dental cavities early which can prevent pain, infection, and more involved dental treatments.
Sealants
Dental sealant is a protective coating usually recommended for your child’s back teeth with deep grooves. They are very effective in preventing cavities in areas that may be hard to reach with your toothbrush. Our practice philosophy is to be proactive and prevent cavities so we recommend this for most of our patients.
Fillings & Crowns
When we have small dental cavities with less surfaces involved, we offer fillings. Our practice only offers white fillings. At times, the dental decay can approach the nerve or have a larger surface involvement, which would indicate a crown restoration. We offer both white and silver crowns.
